BALLOON FLIGHT
As a RE/MAX agent, you have the opportunity to provide the once-in-a-lifetime experience of a hot air balloon ride to a special client. Facilitate a marriage proposal, help celebrate a milestone birthday or anniversary, or simply say “thanks for doing business with me.” In addition to sharing the RE/MAX brand with your passengers, your giant advertisement will fly over your community, attracting attention wherever it goes.
While a balloon flight is limited to two passengers, additional friends and family members are invited to help launch, chase, and pack the balloon. Flights are scheduled at sunrise and sunset. The cost of a balloon flight is $975 and is weather contingent. It can be rescheduled if the pilot has to cancel prior to his arrival due to the weather forecast. The office must provide a crew of three support people or a $70 charge will be added, including for annual free events.
24′ COLD AIR BALLOON
The 2.5-story tall RE/MAX cold air balloon really captures the attention of the crowd. Whether you are hosting a grand opening, open house, fundraiser, festival, or sporting event, this giant, static balloon will certainly get people talking.
The cost of having the 24′ cold air balloon is $975. This allows for 8 hours of set-up time. Additional time may be negotiated with the pilot for an extra $150 a day plus expenses.
TETHER
A hot air balloon tether is the premium experience with the balloon program. The hot air balloon is tied down, allowing an ascent of 25 to 40 feet, giving passengers a 3 to 5 minute balloon flight experience. Tethers last for up to 1.5 hours and normally see 60 to 100 people come through the basket. The balloon is only operated during the first or last two hours of daylight when the wind tends to be the lightest, so plan your tethered balloon event with this in mind.
The cost of a balloon tether is $1,500 for a 1.5 hour event. Additional time may be negotiated with the pilot for an extra $300 for every 30 minutes. Note that if your office uses its free flight allocation for a tether, a difference of $525 will be charged. The office must provide a crew of three support people or a $70 charge will be added, including for annual free events. A space of 200′ x 200′ clear of debris, trees, and power lines is required for the tether.
BALLOON WALK
A balloon walk consists of a hot air balloon that is inflated with cold air. Adults as well as children are able to walk right into the balloon envelope and get an up close and personal look inside.
Balloon walks are especially popular at community events and private parties involving young school age children. Additionally, balloon walks can be set up in winds that would keep a tethered balloon operation on the ground.
The cost of a balloon walk is $975 for a 1.5 hour event. Additional time may be negotiated with the pilot for an extra $100 for every 30 minutes.
PARADE
Participate in your local community’s parade to promote your brand! The balloon pilot will provide their official RE/MAX of Michigan Balloon Events Team truck with the balloon basket attached and burners ablaze, plus a branded RE/MAX trailer. Invite your entire office and their families to walk or ride along, sporting their red, white, and blue. You are welcome and encouraged to bring additional personalized signage, decorations, and giveaways. The parades are always crowd-pleasers and are local area favorites!

SCHOOL BALLOON PROGRAM
A RE/MAX balloon pilot will visit the school of your choice and share their indoor or outdoor science presentation and outdoor inflation demonstration with a student audience of any age and size. This is an outstanding way to develop brand awareness in your community with an event that the kids will talk to their parents about for a long time.
While a school balloon program can be tailored for all ages, the ideal range is third through fifth grade. Note that this type of event will require schedule coordination between you and the school, and it is not cancelled for inclement weather. Balloons are unable to inflate in wind and precipitation, and the highest chance of an inflation demonstration is before 9:00 a.m.

MAX PICNIC
Want to make a splash in your community? The MAX picnic will certainly delight those of all ages. This all-encompassing event includes the 24′ cold air balloon display, the Balloon Events Team trailer, a RE/MAX branded tent, a hot air balloon basket display, feather flags, two RE/MAX branded fly guys, and a RE/MAX branded bounce house. There is no better way to show your community that you appreciate them than by inviting them to a fantastic client appreciation event all while showing off the RE/MAX brand.
The cost of a MAX picnic is $2,500 for a 3 hour event.
MIN PICNIC
The MIN picnic is a smaller version of the MAX picnic. This event includes either an 8′ or 24′ cold air balloon display, the Balloon Events Team trailer, a RE/MAX branded tent, a hot air balloon basket display, and feather flags. This option is perfect for grand openings, open houses, fundraisers, and sporting events.
The cost of a MIN picnic is $1,500 for a 3 hour event.
